Qingming Festival - The 24 Solar Terms / 清明——二十四节气
The Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival and one of the most important festivals in China. It is the day of ancestor worship and grave sweeping.
I was invited by Mr. Lu to create this static poster and dynamic poster for the Qingming Festival.
Han Hong, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, wrote in the poem “Chillies”: “春城无处不飞花，寒食东风御柳斜.” In the late spring, Chang'an City flutters everywhere and countless reds.
The poster is based on the climate and environment during the Qingming period. The neon-like strobe indicates that the Qingming as the fifth solar term in the 24th solar terms has a profound influence on the ancestors.
